Founded in 1961 as an auto body repair shop, Rick’s has flourished to become a state of the art insurance collision center for all types of vehicle repair. Rick’s Auto Body is a contracted preferred repairer for numerous major insurance companies since 1999. And to showcase their expertise, Rick’s has been foremost in many improvements throughout the years:
- Only independently owned repair facility in the US to be the port of entry auto repairer for Nissan Motors of New England.
- Worked with PPG Industries and Subaru of America to resolve paint problems relative to refinishing factory defective paint.
- Serves as a training facility for numerous staff appraisers of various insurance companies
- Introduced the “Green” Movement to the auto repair industry by installing one of the first Global Finishing Solutions spray booths in Rhode Island.
- First to use eco-friendly waterborne paint products to safeguard the environment and its paint department employees.
- Embraced recycling in 1986, reducing pollutants and waste in landfills including plastics, metals, cardboard, oils, acids, solvents, tires, batteries and other liquid wastes.
